Two-Oaks
Sutton's WRA Sassy
DOB: 4/4/1997
LA: VEEV 89
Sire: Munchin'Hill Wrangler SS: Kara Kahl Absolute SD: Munchin'Hill Ninety-Two
Dam: Two-Oaks Vaq Teeco's Tracy DS: Hill N Holler NB Vaquero
DD: Milk-N-Honey VIK Tiara Teeco
Sassy came to me by way of a dear friend in Georgia. She is one
tough old lady. She adapted well to the change from the mild South
Georgia winters to our harsh Kansas weather. Soon to be 10 years old
and she is still milking well and standing up on good strong feet. I
am very pleased with her hardiness. This year she has been
bred to our new buck, Pete. We will offer any buck
kids for sale but will retain all doe kids. Sassy's son,
Ramsey, was sold to Vanessa Ragan in Skiatook, OK. I am
almost as pleased with his doe kids as Vanessa is. They
have shown well and beaten my does kids in the ring. We
are both looking forward to see how Sassy's granddaughters
freshen in 2007. Due to her age, the unpredictable feed
quality, and my desire to try to get a few more kids from this
old lady, I only milked her for 109 days. When her milk
production dropped to less than 6 lbs. on test, I dried her off.
In 2007, I plan to give her the change to finally earn her
milking star.

CH
Dorema Farm Gypsy DOB: 3/14/1999
Sire: Milk-N-Honey DP Sequoia SS: Milk-N-Honey Dr. Pepper
SD: Milk-N-Honey RP Tracy
Dam: The McCarters Priscilla Lynett
DS: Crystal-Creek CCR Dream Maker
DD: The MC Carter's Laurel Mocha
Gypsy is another of my older does. She is often mistaken for an
Oberhasli because of her vivid bay coloring. I did not show her until
she was five years old. I thought that she was lovely but small in
stature. I took her to a show to help fill a class and she went GCH! She
did the same at the next two shows and earned her permanent champion
status within a month. She is also bred to Pete. We will retain any doe
kids and offer buck kids for sale. Gypsy became ill soon
after she freshened with a uterine infection. As a result,
she did not milk well and was excused from linear appraisal.
I felt that to save her life, I had to dry her off. She
was on teset for only 72 days. Her 2007 kidding and
lactation will determine if she will be retired.

Dorema Farm Blyss
DOB: 3/7/2004 LA: VV+E 87
Sire: Brynnestone T Ranger
Sire Sire: Shahena'KO Sumo Tierro Sire Dam: Redwoodhills Rainman Kayann
Dam: Dorema Farm Lucinda
Dam Sire: Crosshaven's WRLJ HIL Hunter Dam Dam: Dorema Farm Gypsy
Blyss is one of my children's favorite milkers because of her sweet
disposition and ease of milking. She is a very long bodied and level doe
that carries herself with a natural elegance. Blyss is truly a milk goat.
Her foreudder leaves a lot to be desired, but she makes up for
it in udder capacity. We milked her for 211 days and she
produced 1,973 lbs. I feel guilty for not milking her
longer. Since it is difficult to find help with milking
while we are at shows, we had to make the hard decision to dry
off does not on the show string. She is bred to Romeo for
March 2007 kids. Since we have a beautiful doe kid (Dorema
Farm Doracus) from 2006 by Dr. Pepper, we will offer her second
doe kid and buck kids for sale. |

SG Dorema Farm Cassopeia
DOB: 4/8/2004
LA: VEEV 88
Sire: Brynnestone T Ranger
SS: Shahena'KO Sumo Tierro
SD: Redwoodhills Rainman Kayann
Dam: Azriels'Keep Nina
DS: Shepherd's-Gate Expressly Gods
DD: Lanes-End B.F. Jemima
Peia is the star of the herd these
days. We just love her golden buckskin color. She
has freshened with a beautiful foreudder for the second time.
She has shown well for me too. At the AGS Nationals in
Duncan, OK, she was RCH Alpine doe. At the Tulsa State
Fair, she won GCH Alpine doe. She still has not won her
permanent championship, but I feel that it is just a matter of
time. I am so pleased with the strength and body capacity
she has developed as she has matured. She is bred to
Sunshine Segni Serapis. We will offer her second doe kid
and bucks for sale.

*M Dorema Farm Cassandra
DOB: 3/10/2002
LA: VEEV 88
Sire: Shahena' KO SS Bellissimo ++B AR43 ST43
SS: Qu'Appelle Seahawk Sojourn ++B
AR 43 ST43 CL46,39,38,35
SD: GCH Shahena'Ko S Elegant 3*M
AR37 ST43 CL33
Dam: The Mccarter's Sweet Suzanna
Cassandra is the daughter of
one of the oldest and heaviest milkers that I have ever owned. Her dam, Susanna,
milked 12-14 lbs of milk thru 12 lactations. My beloved
Suzanna only gave me two doe kids in all those years.
Cassandra was the one that I chose to keep. Before she
died, Sus blessed me with over 25 buck kids - often triplet
bucks! It became a family joke and I despaired of ever
getting a doe. Needless to say that I am very fond of
Cassie after waiting over 10 years for her. She earned her
milking star at a one day milk test as a three year old.
She is very sharp and dairy with tremendous width between her
ribs. I have to work very hard to keep her from putting
all her weight into the milk bucket. In the show ring,
judges either love or hate her for her extreme dairyness.
After four years of placing from top to bottom and everywhere in
between in the show ring, she finally won our first BDIS ribbon
at the Indian Nations Rite of Spring show in Kellyville, OK.
This year, she is bred to Romeo. Very much like her
mother, in three freshenings she has only given me one doe kid
sired by Dr. Pepper. Since she is a recorded grade, no
buck kids are for sale and it would take a fortune to convince
me to part with any doe kids.

This doeling has all of Cassandra's elegance with a bit
of Pepper's strength trhown in. Like her mother, she
appears to be a very dairy, "hard doing" kind of a doe. We
will allow her to mature and grow this year and breed her to
freshen as a two-year old.
